imdownthepub (3995), Banbury, Oxfordshire, Oxfordshire, England Sep 22, 2007 Cask conditioned at The Wellington, Birmingham. Pale straw colour with slight white head. Thinnish body to this beer, light, grassy but a little flabby with a cereal note. Perfumed hop note through the finish, the beer tastes a little green and unfinished, only average really. Rastacouere (5258), Montréal, Quebec, Canada Sep 21, 2007 Sparkler’s foam settles atop the slightly hazy blonde. A very well-balanced golden ale with plenty of grassy bitterness that cuts through a foamy yet creamy palate. Freshness is key with golden ales and this was a service where this had been understoof. Strawy, fresh malt background. Long titillating finish. Mungo (2474), Southampton, Hampshire, England Sep 18, 2007 Aug 07 Cask conditioned @ Babington Arms, Derby. Tasty fruity blond. Fairly sweet in finish. Not bad, especially in comparison to the other beers I tried at the babington.
