3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottled 500ml (AbM)
Amber color, small steady white head, some lace. Aroma has toasted sugar/crystal malt. Light to medium bodied. Front has some caramalt, then nice spicey hoppyness in the flavor. Somewhat bitter-sweet and such perhaps closer to red/amber ale than bitter. Flavoursome.

Bottle shared with McTapps. A nice balanced one. Mild, with some hops and loads of quaffiness. Also some citrus moments and caramel. A really nice one.

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours out in a clear deep amber colour with low steady head and medium body. Wonderful aroma of intense hops and caramel. Taste of fresh, bitter hops, light malt, light barley, nuts, caramel, grass and honey. Medium bitter finish - delicious and smooth to drink. Enjoyed it.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle at home. Boring brown bitter. Very trad brown nothingness. Dull and uninspiring. Certainly drinkable enough. Bit of hoppy bitterness on the finish but deathly dull.

500 ml bottle.
Pours a copper colour with a small head. Aroma of sweet English toffee, some malts and weak nuttiness. Flavour of sweet malts, English toffee, metals, red berries, weak grassy hops and cardboard. Light bodied, slick mouthfeel and low carbonation. Boring as hell and does not feel fresh.

Bottle from Archer Road Beer Stop, Sheffield. Burnished copper, thin white head. Sweet and clarty with nothing balancing that out. Not very nice. At bit Bombardierish.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle from a cupboard. Not a very appealing drink, unless you’re a slug I hope. Pale amber (perhaps palamber). Smell is rather deadlined. Flavour of cardboard bottletops. An unbitter malt experience. Stewed, rodgered UK hoppage.
