Cask Handpump at the Royal Standard, Derby 10/08/2008 Some hop aroma. Amber golden coloured and a little fruity with a crisp and slightly bitter malt finish.

Cask at The Royal Standard, (The Brewery Tap), Derby 17-08-08 Pours bronze in colour with white head. Good thrusting bitter beer, nice biting bittrness, nice fruity tang, very good.

Cask at the Brewery Tap, Derby. Gold with a thin white head; wet grain aroma; sweet with a slightly chewy bready feel; quite strongly hopped, but a rather ordinary bitter.

Cask-conditioned at the Wellington, Birmingham 12/08/08. Amber coloured with a decent, off-white head. Aroma of caramel and grain. Flavour was the same with a decent bitter finish. Not particularly memorable but drinkable nonetheless.
