Hand pulled at the Wellington, Birmingham. Commemorative beer brewed for some reason to do with somewhere being twinned with somewhere in Germany for some length of time. Is that vague enough for you? Psychosomatic maybe, but this did seem to have a Bock edge. Hard on the finish, cheesy biscuit. Some bittersweetness, some gliding feeling. Quite a good Bitter really.

Cask, Derby Fest 06. Amber with a small head. Aromas are biscuit malts with toffee. Spicy hops with some fruitiness. Quite fresh and vinous. Flavours are spritzy lemon with toffee maltiness. Malty, yet light. Has grapefruit bitterness towards the finish. Some toast character. Quite good.

Cask Stillage at the Assembly Rooms, Derby 07/07/2006 Slightly rich aroma. Copper golden coloured and sweet with a little grassy flavour. Some biiterness and dryness in a full malt finish.
