Bottled. Goldeny amber colour with a mediumsized white fluffy head, which leaves lace. Aroma is caramel malts, mild syrupy notes as well as some citrus and nectar to it. Flavour is mildly acidic fruitiness as well as some caramel, toffee and mild herbal and grassy notes.

UPDATED: DEC 3, 2015 Bottle. From Knickersby Chavsda of all places. Pale bright foaming gold. Wafts of enticing sherbet and passion fruit citrus, greenery, dunked biscuit. Fine delicate galangal and passion fruit building with bitterness into a soapy biscuit finish. Almost cask-like fullness and lace. Better than expected by some margin.

Cask at The Tap, Derby. A clear deep golden colour with a thin white head. Aroma of caramel, some honey, grapefruit, slight orange, subtle lemon and herbal hops. Taste of grapefruit, orange, lemon, some caramel, slight honey, a little butter, subtle brambles and grassy, herbal hops. Medium bodied and a slightly oily texture. A dry, lingering, herbal hop bitterness in the finish. A decent hoppy beer with big grapefruit, orange and herbal hop bitterness. A subtle off flavour of butter in there but it’s still nice.

500ml bottle from ales by mail. Poured clear, golden amber in colour with a thick, frothy white head leaving the glass well laced. Floral, caramel sweetness and citric aromas. Hoppy, fruity flavour with a crisp, sharp bitterness. Good tasting, well made beer.

Bottle from Booths, Media City. Amber with a thin head. Hopped with a light fruity character. It’s crisp without a finish to it which as it is dry and tasteless after the initial burst of flavour.

Bottle @ home. Clear golden color, medium sized white head. Nice clean, crisp and hoppy aroma. Tastes about the same: clean, crisp, hoppy, softly bitter. Suitable carbonation and body. Lovely session beer!
