500ml bottle bought at KellenTay Beers in Derby. Loose white head to a shiny golden body. Fresh apricot on the nose. Flavoured with apricot and grass hops. Mid-sweet hoppy ending. Soft in the mouth. Very much on an ordinary level (Sunday session at the hotel room 22.02.2015).

Cask at The Green Dragon, Leek (JDW) A clear golden colour with a medium white head. Aroma is fruity of apricot, peach and mango with some floral hops too. Taste is again fruity of apricot, peach and mango. Quite sweet with some bitterness from grapefruit. Light bodied and an oily texture. A dry, fruity bitterness in the finish. Refreshing but average.

Cask conditioned at The White Horse at Banbury Cross, Banbury. Hazy Gold with white head. Strong fruity aroma leading to a sweet passion fruit, apricot flavour which dominates the beer, over bearing for me, not great.

Cask gravity at the St Albans Beer Festival 2012. Poured a very hazy orange, with a scummy white head. Aroma of apricots, citrus and sherbet. Fruity flavours, with some brown sugar and toasted malt. Finish was toffee, tinned fruit and brown bread.

On tap @ Cloisters. Pours golden orange with a decent head. Nose of vegetables and citrus. Taste similar. The palate is medium throughout and there’s a clean finish. Overall, yeah I’m glad I had it.

On cask at Three Tuns, Dronfield - Much hyped by my friends who’d had this the night before, so was looking forward to it. Big nose of apricots dominate this, the body looks okay - a bit hazy, but nothing disturbing - and the head laced all the way down. The sweetness of the beer was apparent early on, the apricots again coming through, but leaving the bitterness of a sourer fruit. Unusual, and got a bit fed up of it towards the end....

Bottle from Asda, Thurmaston, Leics. Looks like a lager, smells like a fruity, plug-in air freshener. Well, well. Expected nothing from this, but pleasantly surprised. Fresh, clean mouthfeel, light fruity taste, with a firm dry UK hop backbone. Very refreshing. Enough flavour. Professionally done.

Bottle, Pale gold hazy beer, no head. Aroma of what may be apricots, just sweeter. Taste is sour fruit, not sure what again could be apricots. Carbonated lager like on the palate. A good beer reminiscent of a belgian.
