Golden with a small white head. Aroma of tangerine and apricot, almost too fruity. Dry and fruity flavour with a bitter finish.

Cask conditioned at The White Horse at Banbury Cross, Banbury. Hazy Gold with white head. Strong fruity aroma leading to a sweet passion fruit, apricot flavour which dominates the beer, over bearing for me, not great.

On tap @ Cloisters. Pours golden orange with a decent head. Nose of vegetables and citrus. Taste similar. The palate is medium throughout and there’s a clean finish. Overall, yeah I’m glad I had it.

Gift from Sj. Orange pour with candy / malt aroma. A fruity apricot / peach taste with a mild / nice hop presence. It was ok.

Cask at Cloisters. A light golden ale with a thick white head. Great apricot aroma. Flavour of apricot again with barley and yeast. Quite dry with an apricot linger. Very nice.

Cask at Cloisters. Pale yellow amber, medium white head. Nose is sweet, fresh apricot and little else. Sweet and juicy, with a drying earthy finish. Surprisingly tasty, but would benefit from more carbonation.

Bottle. Copper coloured beer with a light head. The aroma is very clearly apricot and yeasty, and the flavour is mildly bitter, yeasty and apricot sweet. Overall a very nice fruit beer.

Cask (gravity dispense) at Kingston Beer Festival on 13 May 2011. Pale gold colour. Slight haze. Good condition. Strange aroma - fruity but with musky cosmetic notes. Sweetish and fruity on the palate. The musky, cosmetic notes persist though. Some odd flowery notes too - maybe Parma violets. Didn’t realize this was actually made with apricot but I guess it figures. Perhaps a little synthetic. Not really to my taste and certainly not one of the more appealing Dervetio beers I’ve tried, to me at least.
