2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 chriso (7065) - London, - FEB 16, 2010
Cask (handpump) at the Three Guineas, Reading, 30 April 2009. Gold colour. Not much head. Rather dodgy sweaty, clammy malt aroma. Better on the palate but a bit dull. Honey noticeable but not particularly prominent.

[cask at the Stockbridge Tap, Edinburgh] Hazy golden pour with a thick white head. Biscuity on the nose, along with a slightly herbal sweetness. Body isn’t great, quite thin, the honey sweetness presents as a faint sweet linger. Other than that, quite hard to pick out, and I didn’t fancy another go [15022009]

Clear bottle. Golden appearance with no carbonation and slightly hoppy. Some sweetness but no as much as you would expect from a beer that has honey in it. Well bottled and different
