Bottle. Pale golden beer with a strong head. The aroma is lightly dry, and the very lightly toffee and dry. Overall an average beer.

Bottled. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is malts, toffee, some bready notes along with floral, wooden and mild sappy notes. Flavour is crisp maltyness with toffee, wood, sap, herbs and some mild toasted notes.

Very nice and pleasant hoppy ale. No frills, just a good honest ale. Quite pokey at 5.0% too. Nice.

500ml bottle. Pours a slightly hazy golden with a medium head. Aroma is buttery floral hops with some tropical fruit underneath. Taste is the same throughout, with a soapy finish.

Clear medium yellow orange color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, toasted, toffee, butter, light hoppy, grapefruit notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. [20100220]

Clear golden with a medium white head. Sweet malty aroma with hints of hops and caramel. Flavour was quite hoppy with malty and grassy notes. Finished bitter.

Cask (gravity dispense) at Ealing Beer Festival, July 2009. Golden colour and in excellent condition. Grassy hop aroma. Very clean mouthfeel. Pleasant easygoing stuff. Obviously some problems with the bottled version but, on cask at least, a very decent beer.
