Doppelganger (1383) - Dry County, USA - APR 3, 2008
Cask, Far From The Madding Crowd, Oxford. Dark brown, a scattering of tan bubbles. Deep caramel aroma, warm and sweet. Caramel and apple sweetness, full, soft and nicely sticky. As a swift half in between buses, this was rather nice.

Cask conditioned - gravity dispense - Coventry BF. A dark ruby coloured beer, with a bready malty aroma with some sweet caramel notes. The taste is sweet with good alcohol notes. Malty and decent enough but could do better.
