Bottle. Clear and poured very flat. Slight bitterness with some spices. Quite unusual and an above average bitter.

Cask Handpump from the Main Hall at the Assembly Rooms, Derby Winter Ales Festival 05/01/2008 Some fruit aroma. Bronze coloured a little rich on the palate and spicy with a crisp and dry malt finish.

Amber pint at Bridge, Newcastle. Froth head. Taste is unusual, sour almost wheat beer flavour, quite a lot of spices, and herby grassy corriander hops. Quite a sweet finish. Decent enough.

Bottle thanks to cgarvieuk at the pre-plzen knees up. Alround rating: A very spicey golden ale, clove and giner are key, perhaps buttery.

Bottle picked up by my dad from the brewery, and had this on 17-01-08 Poured gold in colour very spicy, taste more so than aroma which also had toffee sweetness coming through. This wasn’t really my thing I found it far too overpowering and too spicy.

Bottle. Golden with a small head. Aromas are toffee malts with pear and tea. Plenty of Xmas spices. Flavours are sweet caramel malts with herbal and spicy notes. Some sweet chocolate with a light dry finish. Decent.
