Cask, Telegraph Inn, New Brighton. Clear dark bronze colour with a medium off white head, quite a bit of lace. Unappealing damp dog blanket aroma. Thin, drab malty flavour, slight peppery notes. Some lifeless bitterness in the finish. Maybe past its best, but surely old Bill Monk deserved a bit better?!
