Amber coloured and very pale with a little hoppiness and lots of dryness in the finish.

Cask by handpump at Bon Accord, Glasgow (12 Apr 12) - slightly hazy golden ale, thin creamy white head, good temperature, nil aroma, caramel / biscuit malt (peanut flavour), smooth, refreshing

Half, cask ale at Bon Accord. Next to clear, dark golden body. Tiny strip of foam leaving dotted spots on the glassware. Smell of mild caramel added by a fruity touch. Sweet and dry taste of caramel followed by a malt-fruit bitter ending. True to the style (Glasgow, 11.04.2012).

Cask, The Salmon, Leicester. Golden with a firm head. Aromas are biscuit, toast and caramel with peanuts. Mellow lemon with hints of honey. Flavours are biscuit malts with leafy hops and hints of lemon. Dry and lightly fruity to finish. OK.

On cask at Greyhound Hotel, Shap. Very pleasant quaffing ale, light and not too citrusy.

Cask (handpump) at the Ship & Mitre, Liverpool. Nice bright gold colour. Fairly loose off-white head. Distinctly dry with a decent mix of pale biscuity malt and citric hop. Finishes a bit thin. Pleasant quaffer but not too much else going on. But no complaints - does what it does perfectly well.
