Cask conditioned at Burgundys Wine Bar, Kendal, Cumbria. Golden beer with white head. Fairly standard Golden Beer with a fruity malty base and a strong yeasty note. Smooth but a little unexiting.

Cask, JDW, Carlisle. Dry, dry, dry. Though there was going to be some fruitiness to this at first, but any hope of that rapidly disappeared, leaving a pale brown-amber bitter, much like their others, with nothing discernible whatsoever. Poor.

UPDATED: JUL 17, 2010 1. Cask Handpump at the Star Inn, Huddersfield 26/07/2003 Golden coloured with a little grain flavour and a dry hop finish. 2. Cask Handpump at the Penny Black JDW, Northwich 12/06/2010 Fruity aroma. Golden coloured and dry with a little sour fruit flavour. A hint of bitterness in a malt finish.

Cask in the market porter. Alround rating: Wet dog, brown ale malts, mildue, grassy hops and a wee bit of old cellar, bitterness is high with herbalness. Not hot.

Cask @ Bon Accord. Dark yellow colour, off-white head. Aroma of biscuit malts, a bit nutty. Flavour is very nutty, with dry malts. Medium dry finish.

Cask @ The Speaker, Westminster SW1. Pours a pale golden color with a small white head. Has a malty nutty earthy hoppy aroma. Fruity malty hoppy flavor with some hints of caramel. Has a fruity malty nutty finish with some hints of hops.
