COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A blond tripel brewed with the brewer’s own malt.

Brewed entirely from own 2-row spring barley, grown on a three-field system.

Note: Each "vintage" and "field" are marked separately (the fields being "Le Bois de Belle Dalle", "Le Jardin de Belle Dalle" and "Le Chemin de Wissant"), but as the barley type used on all three appears to be the same, and despite the difference in terroir, separate entries would not be allowed.

26-MAY-2012, bottle @home, brought by Morten. Beautiful orange with huge lasting lacing white head. Yeasty nose with spice, banana, apricot, and hay’ish malt. Creamy, a little weak on the aroma and palate, but delicious anyway.

0.75l bottle from Calais Vins. Recolte été 2009, Bois de Belle Dalle. Hazy deep sunshine yellow colour, large and creamy white head. Sweet, slightly fruity aroma (strawberries at the beginning). Full-bodied, intensive malty base with a nice touch of fruit (tropical and strawberries) and some good aromatic and bitter hops, slightly dusty and hay-like. Smooth palate. Very nice.

75cl bottle from Traditions en Nord in Cassel, liberated to the UK and tasted after eight weeks’ rest. Imagine Duvel with a hefty shaft of rustic authenticity. Profoundly complex permeatioons on grain flavours and flickers of somewhat inadequate hopping. An impressive beer though from the Opal Coast of northern ’French Flanders’.

Bottle@Home. Rhubarb and black berries aroma. Cloudy, dark yellow, white fine head, good lace. Sweet, malty, overripe apples, hint of laurel, light bitter. Soft, alcoholic, a bit thinnish. Flavourful yet easy.

Bottle, bought @ Voldby Købmandsgård.
Pours clear golden orange with a big, frothy, off-white head. Good lacings. Aroma has lots of fat sweet malts, light toasted caramel, peach, some red apple. Medium carbonation, fine dry and light creamy mouthfeel. Flavour has some viniousness, lots of malts, mild sweetness. There is a good dose of malty flavour with a firm, grassy hoppiness. Nice enough.
