Bottled(330ml). -Hazy dark golden/amber coloured, medium creamy head, spicy honey nose. Tons of yeast floating all over the glass. Aroma of malt, yeast, honey and spices with mild smokey notes.

This is the beer I was looking forward to drink the most of the ones ozujsko brought from Auxerre (I’d told him about it, and all). This poured a completely opaque light brown colour with tons of yeast particles. Nice (don’t think it would be nice to everyone though :)). The nose is Belgian style, spicey, cloves, and evident honey. Not bad at all. The taste is Belgian style spiciness again, obvious cloves and a fine honey presence, not as obvious as in, say, Rouget de Lisle Millefleur, but nice and pleasant. Good, tasty maltiness. A great Belgian style ale from a french region far better know for its wines. A true hidden gem.

Bottled. Steady strong head with a light brown body. The aroma is lightly fermented and the flavour is strong, quite hot on the plate and lightly spiced. Overall a good Belgian ale effort from a French brewery.

UPDATED: OCT 27, 2003 Bottled. Amber coloured, hazy, rich creamy head. Sweet and fruity. Roasty and honeyish. Yeasty, soft, rich and interesting.
