2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 beersearcher (1475) - Glendale, USA - JAN 1, 2010
One of the cooler labels that I have seen. Wit is not at the level that I have had before. Not enough sparkly carbonation and orange flavors for my liking. Maybe they were aiming for more of a wheat beer which would make it better for me.
3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 cakanator (447) - South Hadley, Massachusetts, USA - NOV 5, 2011
From notes, Rosso release last year, Glad I got to try it, but really nothing special. Pours out a wheaty golden foggy hue, nice aromas of citrus, decently zesty. I really thought this one was a bit one sided, or one dimensional, too much citrus. There are too many other wit’s out there that are better. Good try, but keep it retired.
2.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 dcschiller (1682) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - NOV 16, 2010
(22oz bottle). Pours golden color with lots of yeast in suspension, but not hazy-just floaties. Good 1 finger white head. Aroma is typical of most wits-apple, belgian yeast and maybe slightly oxydized. Taste is a little sweet, but it’s past its peak. Tastes like a watered down juice. Still drinkable, but not very pleasing. I would have like to taste it fresh; I think this would have been a very good wit.

Bottle shared by daknole -- bleh. Pours a golden color with a fleeting white head. Medicinal aroma. Tastes of coriander and orange zest. Not a fan.
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 Acknud (966) - Morganfield, Kentucky, USA - JUN 15, 2010
I don’t know whether it was the age or just a poor beer but it certainly didn’t live up to 20th anniversary standards. Bland in taste and aroma. Nothing exciting in the mouth feel area either.
2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 daknole (5859) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - APR 12, 2010
Very pale pour. Aroma is almost gone in this one. Some light coriander and pale malt. Flavor is very light, but not all that bad. Coriander, malt, very faded hops. Not one to age, but at least it wasn’t oxidized.
2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 popery (1014) - San Francisco, California, USA - MAR 29, 2010
A wheaty, bright beer with an interesting but not altogether inspiring citrus undertone. The beer pours sunshine yellow with a good head. I wasn’t expecting much from a witbier because I’ve been disappointed by some American wits in the past. The nose is citrus sweet without being cloying and wheaty but fairly weak. The taste is more wheat and, oddly, less of the special flavoring. The beer has alright feel, but it should be smoother. Gets a bit grainy, to be honest. Drinkability should take more of a front seat with this style, at least it seems that way to me, and this beer falls short.
2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 SledgeJr (3577) - Omaha, Nebraska, USA - JAN 15, 2010
In bottle. Pours bright canary yellow with a poufy white head. This is a super boring nothing beer. There’s not much wit aroma or flavor. I get no orange or coriander. A big disappointment. Was the point of this beer to have us talk about how pedestrian it is for the next 20 years? If so, well done.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 5000 (4107) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - DEC 16, 2009
Bottle:   Pale straw, rather clear, rocky white head that settles quickly, spotty lacing, moderate carbonation.   Not all that "white beer" like.   More yellow than white.   Wheat malt on the nose, very subtle spices.   Actually this one is quite spicy on the tongue.   Somewhat mealy, certainly wheaty.   Very much like most American examples, but perhaps spicier and cleaner.   Moderate body and mouthfeel.   Decent beer, probably spicier than it is wheaty.   Some citrus like spices linger.   Not bad.
