Draught @ Deschutes Portland:   Deep fiery amber, moderate off-white head, spotty lacing, light carbonation.   Hoppy nose, slight pine and citrus.   The serving glass makes it difficult to capture the aroma.   Hoppy, piney (the strongest of them all), and citrus peel on the tongue.   Definitley a strong Pale Ale without being overly bitter.   Me like!   Body and mouthfeel are fairly big.   Seems fairly malty, enough to balance the bittering bits.   A little astringent on the backside, but not too heavy.   Might be that citrus peel piece.   Lingering citrus zest.   This one has a lot of that, citrus peel and twang.   Good, big Pale Ale.
