COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed at their Portland location. The Extra Pale Ale has strong floral notes with a hoppy and flavorful aroma. Brewed with Cascade, Centennial, German Northern brewer, and experiential citrus hops. The XPA is a crowd favorite and with it marks our one year anniversary! IBUís 58

A light fresh hop aroma. This is basically a solid pale ale. Normal body with a super dry finish. Good stuff.

Itís still a pale ale, but for the style, definitely one of the better ones. Very flavorful. Nicely balanced between malts and hops. Beautiful copper color pour. Not bitter.

Dark golden, great clarity, slightly off-white , dense head. Citric hops and sweet grain on the nose. Flavor is typical deschutes British yeast esters, pine, resin, light citrus, biscuity malt, and a lightly bitter finish. Good stuff, probably prefer it to mirror though Iíd have to have them side by side to be sure.

Hazy orange with some mild carbonation and a soapy head; No lacing. Aroma of yeasts, floral hops, orange peels and pale malts. Flavors of floral hops, citrus, yeasts and pale malts. Body is moderate in both weight and carbonation. Quite flavorful APA, I like it!

Pint from Deschutes BrewPub in Portland, OR--Poured an amber-copper body with a small fluffy whitish head. Bold hop-laden flowery, citrus, caramel sticky nose. Lots of grapefruity pininess. Crispy, chewy malt and hops balance. Highly hopped (50+ IBU) but subtly constructed. Great hoppy beer that non-hopheads could appreciate. I went to the bar hoping to try the Dissident sour ale, but this XPA was a proper substitute.

On tap at the Portland pub. Pours a cloudy orange, with a big head. Citrus hops, with maybe a bit of lime on the nose. It has a really great balance - this is a seriously tasty IPA. Itís on the high end of sessionable - I wouldnít want more than a few, but I could definitely keep drinking it for a while. Really nice.
