Tap at Deschutes in Bend. Clear orange pour. Medium foam with webby lacing. Nose is stickier candies, strawberry, mild apple oxidation, acetaldehyde. Taste is biscuit, mild butter, biting acidity, spicy hops. Thick sugar density. Biting, spicy finish. Mild metallic twang.

this is a decent IPA. It is very hoppy... more do than the IBUs would indicate. It is a pucker beer that you better have plenty of time to down a pint. Canít rush this kind of drinking. enjoyable, but would rather go with a more subdued mirror pond or twilight.

Copper, slight haze, white head. Aroma: light caramel, herbal hops, touch of fruit. Flavor: grainy/bready malt with a little caramel, fairly firm spicy/herbal hop flavor and bitterness follows. Drinkable, balanced.

Tap. Copper with creamy head and lacing. Smells almost melony plus bready and peppery. Tastes sweet, but not too sweet, with a light bitterness. Full mouth feel.

Really great. I could drink it all day. Gold, amber color. Sweet malt and slight hop aroma. Taste and palate is clean, balanced, raisin, fresh grain and little carmel. Nice!

This is one of my least favorite Deschutes beers. It just didnít do it for me, I just had a sample of it but that was enough for me to know I didnít like it. Doesnít stand up to good British bitters.

Pours from the tap at Deschutes Public House. Deep orange color is clear with a creamy foam. Some hop aromas with caramel. Light mouthfeel with small carbonation bubbles. Good malty base that is balanced well. Finishes neutral.

On tap at the Portland location (amazingly, this was in the database, somehow the do tons of one-offs at Deschutes. Man, I would get 100 ratings a year from this place if I was local). Pours a light amber color with a medium white head. A crisp nose of hops and dry leaves. A rich flavor of caramel and some bitter hops. Very fresh and clean. Tasty.
