Decent amber body with an acceptable head. Sharp, hop aroma and invigorating hop flavor, albeit one well balanced by background malts. Moderately floral character. One of the better ESB's.

Excellent off-white head sits on top of a clear red body. Nice hoppy nose, citrus. Malt is evident at first taste then the bitterness develops. Medium-full body with lively carbonation, leads into a very nice crisp finish. Very good ESB. Would go nicely on cask!

(draft)Clear copper body with beige head. Aroma is floral, medium sweet, some caramel. Taste is earthy/floral, some caramel, with a slightly herbal bitter finish. Medium body.

Had some from <a href=ViewUser.asp?UserID=6411>harlequinn. I didn't expect this much hoppiness (no pun intended) from a bitter. It had a very sweet floral hops aroma and a balanced malty flavor. It was dry and bitter on the palate and I enjoyed it. It seems almost like a pale ale or even an IPA, not the normal bitter I'm used to. For American NW bitters, this one blows away Redhook ESB.

I was totally not expecting to be overwhlemed when I started drinking this bitter. A deep red hue, with strong grapefruit aromas, which reflects in the coloring slightly, a very fragrant aroma which it apparent from the time you open the bottle. A rich, zesty taste that take over your entire range of taste, satisfying your whole palette. A very strong hop presence here, which I was not expecting. The finish was just rich, and clean and tasty. A very yummy beer.

Ruby red hue. Sickly sweet apple syrup aroma, rotten fruit is noticed. Overall bitter an pale at first, with some interesting wood and corn flavors mixed with a hefty malt profile. Finish is slightly dry, missing a sweet balance.

A clear amber color with a white head. The aroma is sweet and malty. The flavor is hoppy up front with some malts. Seems will balanced between bitter and sweet.

Cooper color with a small beige head. Smells of sweet caramel and malt. Bitter malt and maybe even some hops.
