This ale features a smooth drinking body comprised of pale, munich and crystal malts. The hop character comes from variety “B,” a unique, experimental hop from our friends in Germany. Variety “B” features intense, fresh, fruity flavor and light citrus notes.

On tap at Deschutes Portland. Pours a cloudy light orange. Butterscotch on the nose -- definitely malt-forward. Hops come later, and this one finishes like a more traditional pale. The transition works well -- this is actually quite nice.
