3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
A world class porter. A strong coffee and chocolate aroma with a faint hint of hops in the background. Pour was a nice deep dark brown with a one finger tan head. Taste was heavy on the coffee and chocolate. Strong bitter coffee and roasted malt in the aftertaste. Very full flavored and well done.

Thanks to brewdad for the bottle. Poured an opaque black into the glass. Smell was bittersweet chocolate. Taste had lots of chocolate as well, nice balancing bitterness, creamy, and a touch of coffee. Really nice example of the style.
