3.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20
12 oz bottle.
A "thin" porter with a creamy mouthfeel. Taste of chocolate and roasted finish. If you think that porters are to "heavy" for warmer weather, give this one a try.

Smooth flavour profile - roasted chocolate malt, coffee, caramel, marshmallow. The sweet flavours run into a nice bitter finish. Pretty good.

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a black color with a nice creamy head and some lacing. Smells of toasted malt and chocolate. Tastes of cocoa powder and malt. Finishes slightly sweet, which I don’t mind at all. A pretty solid beer here. Wish it had better aroma though.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 9/20
Nice aroma, however it is not a strong one, subtle, but good. Beautiful black color very dark, you can barely see light through it, but low head. The taste is a classic example of the style, my girlfriend enjoys this, and she is not a fan of beer in general. It is sweat but not overpowering with a hint of chocolate in the after taste. Nice mouth feel with very little carbonation which is typical of a porter. I would recommend this and drink it again.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle from Wine and Cheese Place (Rock Hill) MO. Aroma is roasted malts with mild chocolate. Appearance is very dark brown--almost opaque, with 2-finger beige foamy head with attractive lacing. Taste is moderately sweet with roasted chocolate. Palate is mild to moderate body with thin texture with carbonation to support the beer but not call attention to itself. Finish is mildly sweet. Overall, a nice Porter with a little bit thin palate.
