Aroma of roasted malt, some coffee, hint of chocolat, some blackcurrant. Quite bitter taste, fruity chocolat, burned sugar. Some rum maybe indeed. Served in pint glass- poured very dark brown with ruby tints when held to light, medium carbonation, tan head tried to formed but just couldn’t muster it. Aroma of coffee, bakers chocolate, smoke, and roasted malts. HIts the mouth with a medium body, malt comes in immediately followed by some coffee highlights, middle was some cream, finish has nice feel.
