Combining Munich malt, oats, and crystal malt with Cascade, Brewers’ Gold, and Amarillo hops creates quite an IPA. We took this beer to another level by adding a dark malt component to increase the complexity of this brew. We’re betting this beer will make you happy. IBU’s 79 ABV 6.5%.

At the Bond Street brewpub in Bend, Oregon this poured a dark brown tending almost to black with medium tan head. Looks like a porter in the glass, But when you smell the nose you know it is not, because it gives off a robust aroma of citrus and floral hops and dark roasted malts. It delivers a medium body with average carbonation and a good slick mouthfeel. The flavor is full of IPA bitterness by backed up by a little chocolate. Dry bitter finish. An interesting twist on the IPA style, and very enjoyable.
