COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This clean out the malt room stout was made with 9 specialty malts. The beer was then aged in Heaven Hill bourbon barrels for eight weeks. The vanilla, roasted, chocolate aromas and flavor dominate this smooth drinking, dark offering.

Sampled at the Portland brewpub. Pours an oily, opaque black with a creamy tan head. Nose is very mild, sweet smelling, roasted malts, very dark toast. Flavor is sweet, malty, chocolate, brown sugar, light vanilla. Medium bodied. Not too much barrel here.

On Draft at P town brewpub 2009. Aroma: Burnt coffee (black patent grain), bourbon, vanilla, not especially aromatic. Flavor: Starts with coffee then a bit of bourbon shows up.
