Sep 28, 2009 Kind of a simple, toned-down pale ale. Some toffee and caramel notes in the background but herbal hops dominate the flavor and aroma. Solid beer.

Sep 21, 2009 Bottle (in NZ), pours a hazy amber. Toffee malt on the nose with a touch of fruit. The malty palate is a little soapy, the citrus and peachy hops struggle to break through. Oxidised from the trip.

Sep 1, 2009 Bottle. Pours an amber body with an off white head. Hoppy with hints of grapefruit citrus and a larger caramel malt bill. A bit bread y and thin but still decent overall.

Aug 30, 2009 12 oz bottle at the Bayou. Another new Deschutes beer in Utah, nice! Pours a clear golden color with a large white head. The aroma is light caramel malts, some hops. The flavor was smooth and easy; lots of caramel malts, light hops and a grains. Decent.

Aug 30, 2009 12 oz bottle. Best by date of may 09, so it’s a couple of months "past".
Pale orangy yellow, nice tight, creamy beige head.
Light aroma of caramel malt and even lighter grassy hops
Flavor is barely-there-caramel, with a mild spicy hop finish.
Hard to believe this came from Deschutes. Yes it’s "old" but it shouldn’t have faded that fast.

Jul 27, 2009 12oz. Bottle: Faint aroma of caramel malts and a hint of hops. Poured orange/amber in color with a small, white head that diminished but lasted as a film on top of the beer. Hazy. Sparkling. Full of tiny particles throughout. Flavor is slightly sweet and lightly bitter. Tastes of malts, slight caramel, light toasting, light maple, slight grains, and hops. Medium body. Dry texture. Average carbonation. Lightly sweet, lightly bitter, caramel, and maple finish is dry.

Jul 26, 2009 Poured from Bottle into Pint glass.
Pours a orange-yellow with a finger of fizzy white head that quickly dissolves into a wispy layer. The aroma is grassy, herbal hops with some touches of honey and caramel malt. The flavor is sweet malt upfront and followed by a soft grassy hop bitterness. Its light bodied with lively carbonation. If there is one word to describe that flavors of this beer it would be "cereal." Its a refreshing beer and definitely nice on a hot summer day but I would reach for it otherwise.
