Commercial Description:
Cascade Ale is crisp and refreshing. Generous herbal hop character and just a hint of caramel malt create a perfect balance.

This is a pretty easy drinking beer. It poured a straw-orange color with a thin white head. The flavor was not slightly hoppy but balanced. Nicely one.

When someone offers you an ale, just an ale, what do you think? Well, this is it. Light, clean, a touch of hops (floral), a squeez of citrus, at 4.5% abv... it is what it is. Nothing special, but solid all the same. Nice. Especially when you’re in the mood to keep it simple.

Bottle courtesy of kenb. Thanks Ken. Pours a slightly cloudy golden color with a small fizzy white head. The aroma is citrusy hops. The flavor is a mix of citrus and grains. Body is light with the right amount of carbonation. The is a respectable summer beer.

12 oz bottle via Roth’s. Pours a near clear amber with a nice head that quickly recedes. This is actually quite tasty, a bit biscuity, then some citrusy/grassy hops, and a nice toasted grain finish. Body is light/medium, carbonation is moderate. This is tasy and easy to drink, and would be my summer session beer of choice if it were more readily available. Tastes more like an APA than a golden ale.

12 oz bottle. Pours a clear pale gold with a big head, high carbonation, and no lacing. Floral and citrus nose. Flavors is similar, with lemon notes and carmel notes. Thin mouthfeel and a crisp finish. Not bad, but Deschutes produces far better beer than this one.

From a 12 oz bottle this poured a nice clear gold with a moderate white head and good lacing. Nose was of malts and hops, with a little flowers. Mourhtfeel good, and flavor shows citrus. Finish crisp and clean. Good beer
