COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cascade Ale is crisp and refreshing. Generous herbal hop character and just a hint of caramel malt create a perfect balance.

Golden clear body is capped by creamy off-white head & nice lacing. Floral hop nose & caramel malt flavors blend in this well-balanced ale.

Cascade ale is a nice good micro brew. Sometimes it feels a little heavier than I want it to be because I associate it with summer beer. It ends up being more like lunch then something to wash down lunch with.

Best by: 28DEC11 A: golden ale with brilliant clarity and a fleeting finger of white foam falls to a cap and rim of the same. Spotty lace. S: Smells sweet and slightly floral. Very simple and crisp. T: Nice grain flavor with some bitter tone and good, subtle floral character again. M: thin with moderate carb. Semi dry finish. O: really a spot on Blonde with the drinkability I desire and subtly to offer intrigue. Totally wish this was more regularly distro in my area as I would purchase more often. Hazy amber beer, little white head. Semi crisp dry palate. Dry pale malt. Trace of banana. Redisual hop. Insipid orange with a tiny bit of bitterness. Very dry finish. Pretty grim in most departments. WTF happened here Deschutes?

Aroma is yeast, grains, spices and citrus hops. The flavor is mildly sweet malts, an undertone of caramel and a long, medium hoppy finish.

12oz bottle from La Bodega. Kind of a simple, toned-down pale ale. Some toffee and caramel notes in the background but herbal hops dominate the flavor and aroma. Solid beer.

Not sure why some of the low scores. This is what a beer should be like! It’s not trying to push any extreme or play fancy with anything. It’s a wonderful session beer that still has plenty of flavor and hops. Pour is golden with plenty of foam. The aroma gives you a little hops along with the malt. A little more hops thrown in with the taste, following up with plenty of malt, biscut and carmel.

355ml bottle pours a pale golden color with a modest white head that settles leaving some thin spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma is light caramel with some floral and citrus hop notes. Taste is light caramel malt sweetness with some herbal and citrus hop bitterness. This is one of the better blond ales I have tried from the USA, very pleasing and balanced flavors.
