Commercial Description:
Cascade Ale is crisp and refreshing. Generous herbal hop character and just a hint of caramel malt create a perfect balance.

There is little new offered here by Deschutes. This seems to be predominantly another pale ale in the same vein as Mirror Pond. Perhaps a tough lighter, a touch hoppier, but nothing that fabulous. Makes for lighthearted summer drinking, but nothing intense.

12oz. Bottle: Faint aroma of caramel malts and a hint of hops. Poured orange/amber in color with a small, white head that diminished but lasted as a film on top of the beer. Hazy. Sparkling. Full of tiny particles throughout. Flavor is slightly sweet and lightly bitter. Tastes of malts, slight caramel, light toasting, light maple, slight grains, and hops. Medium body. Dry texture. Average carbonation. Lightly sweet, lightly bitter, caramel, and maple finish is dry.

Bottled at Stockholm Beer Festival 2008. A hazy amber beer with a lazing orangey head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of caramel and straw as well as lighter notes of grapefruit. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of straw and caramel, leading to a dry bitter finish. The body is thin.

Awww shit, nothing special here folks, just keep movin' along. Just another classic west coast session beer. Earthy and fruity hop nose. Light, crisp herbal taste. Deently balanced.

Bottle... Poured a matte orange with very little white head. Aroma of herbal/floral sents and hops and maybe fruit. Flavors of malt with mild hops and a nice citrus note. I’m not too into Golden Ales but this one has some unique character to it... I really enjoyed this one for a Golden.
