Brewed with wheat and pilsner malt; this IPA displays beautiful citrus aromas from Cascade and Citra hops that meld with the esters of Belgian yeast. Think thirst quenching hopped-up wit beer with enough IBUs to warrant the IPA name.

Bright yellow, hazy color with white head. Very intense aroma of coriander and some belgian yeast. Taste is not as intense. Starts like a typical belgian ale, gets into witbier territory in the middle and finishes quite bitter. The coriander is also lingering in the aftertaste. A nice beer overall but it’s kind of missing the IPA part. It has a bitter finish but I would have liked a more hoppy aroma and taste too.

Bottle. Aroma is big honey and cereal grain with some bubblegum, banana, peaches, and light flowers. Tastes moderately sweet with very little bitterness. Big Belgian yeast flavor with honey and peaches. Mouthfeel is a little syrupy. Decent.

Bottle. Light golden, hazy, small to average and fully diminishing head. Moderate, malty - wheaty and sweetish aroma, some caramel, light floral fruitiness and citrus hoppyness, light yeast. Body is medium, malty - some wheat and sweetish flavor, some caramel, light floral fruitiness and light citrus hoppyness. Finish is average, malty - some wheat and lightly sweetish - sweetish, some caramel and light fruitiness, light metal with light citrus/herbal hoppyness. Caramel sweetish "IPA” with wheat - really could use more bitterness. Not so enjoyable.

Cloudly yellow color with a big white end of really white foam. Freshly smell of spices and really drinkable.

A little too dry, not quite enough backbone. Decent IPA, though. It just seems light after some of the other beers I’ve had tonight.

12 ounce bottle poured into a brandy snifter. The beer is a hazy yellow color with a big white head of foam. Very good retention. The aroma has citrusy sweetness and bright orange notes with hints of banana coming through. The sweetness reminds me of those little oranges with the thin skins and pineapple. The beer has just a moderate level of bitterness to it. Dries out toward the finish. Medium body and pretty thirst quenching. Medium carbonation as well. Pretty enjoyable beverage.

Spices replace hops in both aroma and taste. Cloudy wheat color and medimum body. Aroma is all spices!

Hazy yellow. Nose: Yeast, rising bread, pine. Taste is mainly hops, some sweetness. The hops kind of drown out any bubblegum/banana esters I’d expect. Maybe some coriander; can’t tell. True to the description: wit+IPA. Refreshing but among my least favorite of Deschutes’s offerings.

Alluring lemon lime aroma in a slightly hazy light gold pour. Taste is tart to start with a spicy body and a restrained finish. A very refreshing brew.

Awesome brew for an IPA. Not too hoppy at all while still keeping the Belgian White flavor!
