COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed with wheat and pilsner malt; this IPA displays beautiful citrus aromas from Cascade and Citra hops that meld with the esters of Belgian yeast. Think thirst quenching hopped-up wit beer with enough IBUs to warrant the IPA name.

Bottle: Super-hazy, bright sunshine & banana yellow color, vibrant, with a soapy, chalk-white head that leaves nice webbing on the glass. Aroma is heavy on the Belgian yeast but not overpowering; clove gum, candied orange peel, hints of coriander, overripe banana esters; hints of grapefruit zest & spicy herbal hop notes underneath. Taste takes a swing more towards the American hop side of things, trumping the Belgian yeast on the palate. White pepper covered grapefruit peel with a light candied element, a hint of sweetbread, some mild hop oil, a touch of pungent melon, & a little dirty earthiness. Belgian yeast comes alive mid-palate into the finish, but still is a supporting role only. Some mild coriander, clove, & spiciness. A citric peel bitterness lingerings long into the aftertaste. A pretty tasty beer, honestly wasnít expecting much from this.

Draft at Park on Fremont. Pours cloudy orange gold with a big wte head to a mason jar glass. Citrus, grapefruit hop on the nose. Not so hoppy in the mouth. Characteristic wheat beer, light citrus, belgian yeast... with just a bit of grapefruit peel bittering in the finish.

Smells overly malty sweet. Yellow honey color. Strong wheat with honey and orange zest. Refreshing with a tiny bitterness

Cloudy white, thin white head, and mild lacing. Spice, wheat, mild lemon, and citrus aroma notes. Full bodied, creamy texture, flavor like aroma with lasting lemon note. Decent balance, lemony citrus, and medium bitterness. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap poured into a shaker. The initial aromas are mostly lemon citrus and clove spices. Thereís also a trace of pine and bread, but these are secondary. Itís a hazy lemon yellow color with a puffy, unstable white head that reduces down to a thick, messy ring, with a decent surface layer dusting, and a sparse web lacing. Itís a nice balance between medium sweet and bitter - very refreshing. Itís a bit slick with a flattish, low level carbonation. The body is medium, more wit beer than IPA, finishing with lemon and spice with a bit of a sugary caramel syrup note. The lemon and spice mellow out, and clean up the aftertaste nicely.

Very hazy straw gold. Nose of lemon citrus and faint pine with Belgian yeast and spice. Flavor is light lemon citrus bitterness with wheat and Belgian spice. Mildly sweet with some lingering citrus. Could use more hops for the style.

On tap - Hazy yellow pour with a foamy white head. Nose is lemony, with light grassy/citrus hops, mellow, dry yeast, and a pale malt base. Taste has the same character, with some mineral and medium bitterness. Finishes dry and clean. Watery, with mellow carbonation. Not bad, but nothing really stands out.

bottle poured in to tulip. Nice 1.5 finger white head. pours a crisp hazy golden yellow with good fizz. Hazy enough to not see through much like a wheat ale. Nice citrus aroma with floral notes as well as a hint of clove and dough. Definitely the banana scent of a hefe. Nice light tartness on the front with citrus notes continued throughout. light hoppy bitterness and the back that sticks for a few seconds. Medium dry mouthfeel and a very refreshing beer not typical of an IPA.
