Brewed with wheat and pilsner malt; this IPA displays beautiful citrus aromas from Cascade and Citra hops that meld with the esters of Belgian yeast. Think thirst quenching hopped-up wit beer with enough IBUs to warrant the IPA name.

UPDATED: MAR 19, 2015 Strong lemon and bready romas. Crisp mouth makes this a good session beer although I’d rather opt for a traditional American IPA if given the choice

Pours a hazy pale yellow with a white head. Aroma is malt, wheat, citrus, cloves and spices. Taste is light to medium sweet leading to a light citrusy and wheaty finish. Good stuff.

Yellow cloudy body and stable head, looks good. Citric aroma, light fluffy white bread, metallic, herbal hops. Taste is more original with ipa like bitterness and a hoppy appeal. Interesting brew, but it is just a witbier with extra bitterness for me and particularly it doesn’t ’solve’ the witbier issue on aroma for me. It’s a personal thing but while drinking very well and super thirst quenching, the aroma makes me long for a real ipa. (Bottle drank at The Salt Lick bbq)

12oz in Seattle. Very bright, hazy yellow. Definitely a Wit appearance. Good green hops on the nose, much nicer and cleaner than the other ’white ipas’ i’ve had recently. Clean wit beer body with nice clean herbs, nice hops rolling through. Not my style but a nice beer

UPDATED: JAN 11, 2014 Love this beer. Combines two of my favorite styles. Has all the sweetness, yeastiness and light clove and lemon notes of a belgian with the hoppiness of an ipa. Only "bad" comment is it?s more of a belgian than the ipa it?s advertised as.

Hazy yellow pour some soapy head. Aroma of peaches, funk, metal, reggae(herbal). Tastes briny, yeasty, slight bitter orange, peachy citra hops come through well. Solid not very bitter. Definitely hybrid style with wit.

A terrific example of the white IPA style. The blend of earthy Belgian yeast and the citrus flavors of the hops are tantalizingly good. Like most white IPA’s, this one lets you enjoy both the refreshing, smooth flavor of a wheat ale with the fresh bite of an IPA. Whether you call them white IPA’s or Belgian IPA’s, this beer is a worthwhile choice if you’re looking to get into the style.

This is last summer’s bottle with a 6/21/13 best by date, so perhaps that accounts for the subdued aroma and flavor. Hazy light yellow color with white head. Minimal lacing. Subdued lemon citrus aroma. Flavor is lemon citrus, mild sweetness, mild hoppy finish. Thin mouthfeel. Lightly carbonated. This is an easy to drink beer with citrus characteristics, and one of the beers I stock and enjoy coming back to.

ON Tap at Zio Carlos in Ft. Worth. Pours a hazy yellow, darker than I would associate with a wit. Zio Carlo’s had it listed as a Wit but it was pretty clear the aroma was more on the IPA end of things, with big citrus hop aroma. Flavor is lightly spiced, with lemon and yeasty bread. Finishes crisp and typical of a wit.
