3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
A lemon citrus aroma mixing with wheat, hops and a whiff of cloves. About as murky as they get outside of a straight wheat beer. The sour and bitter seem off balance for my liking, and I end up feeling like I am drinking lemonade. Not a bad beer, just not my beer.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours hazy yellow with about two fingers of white head. Aroma of citrus, pine, spices, very floral. Taste is perfume like and sweet with low bitterness. Finish is abrupt. Body is light, somewhat creamy. More a wheat or a saison than an IPA in my opinion.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
UPDATED: JUN 15, 2014 Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a cloudy pale yellow color with a large soapy white head that lingered and left good lacing. The aroma was lemon, pepper and was a bit yeasty. the flavor was musty, tart and a bit dry with notes of coriander, lemon and vague fruity hops. Medium length tart and musty finish with lingering coriander and lemon. Medium body. Decent.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle: hazy pale yellow with a large white head. Aroma is light citrus, light pine hoppiness with a little yeast, corriander and honey. Flavor is sweet-tart with lemon, grapefruit, honey, malt, grass, yeast, and a light corriander. The flavors seem a bit divided and almost in contention to get the spotlight. There is a lot of flavor here, some nice others not so, but a good attempt and still a decent drinking beer.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours cloudy and yellow with a medium light head that leaves some oily lacing. Tons of lemon on the nose with some citrus hops. Bitter lemon flavor. Eh, not hoppy enough to be called an IPA but not very interesting otherwise.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap at a Colorado rep’s home keg, this pours hazy straw, with a thick soapy head that leaves slathering lace. The nose has lemony citrus and some yeast strains. Definite lemon and yeasty esters upfront, with a wheat and grain showing up mid-palate, followed by hop presence in the finish. Some light grainy bitters linger appropriately. This feels more like a "hoppy wit" than an IPA, as the body doesn’t really support it. This isn’t to say that it’s not delicious, because it is tasty and well-balanced. I just think the IPA moniker is not exactly what the brew intends. Still very enjoyable!

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Lazy yellow pour, bright white head. Ugh, cilantro in beer = soap. I hate really dislike it in a wit, and this is no exception. The hop aroma actually isn’t bad, very fruit forward, but then the soapy corriander ruins it. Oh well.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
January 2012. On tap at the brewpub in Portland. Golden yellow with a white head. Mix between a wit and an IPA. Intersting concept. The hops makes it intersting and it really works.
