COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed with wheat and pilsner malt; this IPA displays beautiful citrus aromas from Cascade and Citra hops that meld with the esters of Belgian yeast. Think thirst quenching hopped-up wit beer with enough IBUs to warrant the IPA name.

Bottled at SBWF. Pale yellow, small head. Citric nose. Dry with medium-light body with clean, rounded mouthfeel. Lots of lemon peel and tangerine. Mid bitter finish. Refreshing.

Location: Draft at Stout Barrel House and Galley, 8/23/13

Aroma: The aroma is orange/citrus hops, some wheat, spice, yeast and a little resin
Appearance: It pours a cloudy golden color with a decent sized white head
Flavor: The taste is balanced between the sweetness and bitterness, wheat and citrusy
Palate: The body is light-medium, with pretty good drinkability, and a clean finish
Overall Impression: I thought this was a solid White IPA or Hopped-up Wheat Ale or whatever you want to call it. Solid and drinkable describes this one pretty darn well.

Great beer for either a patio day or a night after work. Very refreshing. Personally I like it better on draft but still great in bottle.

Pretty good aroma, but then it all goes bad. Appearance, well, it is a whitish clear, headless beer. Surprised by the Belgian yeast snuck in there, but that is a slight distraction to a pretty bad beer and bad IPA.

Best by December 20, 2013.
Appearance: The body is pale straw with a milky haze throughout, the head is tall and foamy, lasting long and dissipating unevenly making a mess of white foam.
Aroma: The aroma is dominated by citrus, orange peel and lemon to be exact and I expect coriander. This smells like an overly citrus wit.
Taste: The intro is mild of straw that flows into a mild malt sweetness with orange peel and coriander. Not much bitterness, not much notable hop flavor either.
Palate: Medium bodied, maybe a tad thin, with a lot of carbonation.
Overall: I don’t like the concept of a white IPA and this isn’t one that is going to change my mind. If you don’t like white IPAs then don’t buy this, it’s nothing special.

on draft at far bar, surprisingly hoppy that really saves this one from the toliet, light on the belgian sweetness with a bright tropical hop flavor.

Pours a clear golden color with a malty acidic aroma. Taste is similar to vinegar, with a hint of malt. I wasn’t a fan of this beer and was disappointed since it was a reputable brewery. This beer wasn’t very complex, too thin and vinegary.

Alla spina. Birra non eccezzionale che mischia frumento e lievito belga con luppolatura tipica west coast. Il risultato è una birra non molto armonica nella sue parti

On tap at Doolittles in Golden Valley, MN. Served way too cold so I sent it back for another in a room temperature glass. Slight citrus aroma. Looks like lemonade, slightly cloudy from wheat malt. Nice 3/4" head that quickly dissipated to a moderate lacing. Mild carbonation with nice body & mouthfeel. Lots of citrusy hop up front, balanced malt in the middle with a hint of Belgian yeast character at the end. I enjoyed this beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
