COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed with wheat and pilsner malt; this IPA displays beautiful citrus aromas from Cascade and Citra hops that meld with the esters of Belgian yeast. Think thirst quenching hopped-up wit beer with enough IBUs to warrant the IPA name.

Very cloudy straw color. Thin white head. Lemony aroma. Quite a bit of wheat flavor and yeast---almost more of a hefe feel to this than an IPA. Very drinkalble.

From bottle. Hazy pale golden color. Aroma of bubblegum, clove, apple, and light yeast. Taste is of a wit paired with a light Belgian ale and an IPA: bubblegum, pine hops, clove, light yeast, and slight bitterness. Really pleasing hybrid of styles.

Pours slightly hazy golden with a white head. Aroma has notes of malt, wheat, coriander, citrus and orange. Taste is light to medium sweet and light to medium bitter with a long wheat and coriander finish. Body is light to medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.

On tap at Yard House, Long Beach. A lightly unclear pale golden beer with a small white head. The aroma is resins with some citrus peel and a little touch of malts and spiciness. Decent bitterness in the flavor, with resins and citrus peel. Quite dry on the palate, pleasant carbonation. Mostly bitter finish. A pleasant and refreshing beer, but not very interesting. 130812

Extremely fresh IPA. Bitterness is kept at a minimum while maintaining the IPA flavor. Appears very clear and bright, almost lagerish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap at Deschutes in Portland. Cloudy yellow with thin white head. Aroma of wheat, banana, citrus fruits (particularly grapefruit) - great! The IPA-ness of this beer drops a bit when actually tasted; I mostly taste banana, light spice, light citrus notes, with a dry finish. Light body. I’d call this an "American Wheat Ale" rather than a "White IPA".

Draft at Khyber Pass. Hazy yellow pour. Soft foamy white head. Slight lace. Very floral citrus. Orange peels and pips. Sage. Peppercorns. Clean and dry.

Bottle. Unripe lemon, funky hop, and just overall citrus aroma, mild bitter across the palate with a little lemon sour. Short finish with not much at the end. Pretty mediocre really, maybe good for hot day but I doubt I would reach for this in the cooler.
