Basically a hoppy witbier. The spices and yeast seem to overpower the hops unfortunately.

This tastes a lot more Belgian white than it does IPA. Light, crisp, and citrusy. A surprising amount of aftertaste. I could definitely stand more hops, though.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle poured a slightly hazy light yellow hue w/ small fully diminishing white head and virtually no lacing. Moderate aroma of lemon, soap, and dough. Initial flavor is a light acidic with a moderate bitter finish. Taste is predominately citrus, lemon and grapefruit, followed by Belgian yeast esters. Light bodied, watery texture, lively carbonation. A clean and refreshing beer.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Almost a cross between a wheat beer and an IPA, lots of interesting spice/floral characteristics going on. Not a very bitter/hoppy beer, more on the mild end of the specturm.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
12 ounce bottle thanks to Craig. Pours a crystal clear straw color with a large white head. A spicy mostly Belgian yeast banana nose. A nice sweet flavor with lemon, banana, light yeast, more spices in the finish with lemon. Very easy. More of a wit beer than a IPA. Good.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
It pours an extremely light, pale yellow color that looks much like a cider or fresh lemonade with a frothy, bright white head that settles to a thin white film. Its powerful, yet light-bodied aroma is fresh and very plant-like, green, and almost lemony, with a definite Belgian yeast presence. I like it. It’s light and fresh in the mouth, with a tame yeast presence that doesn’t make it unpleasant to drink, but is just present enough to compliment the lightness and wheatiness of the beer and the heavy citrus characteristics of its Cascade and Citra hops. The hops really do a wonderful job of decorating this beer - so much so that you almost can’t tell that the flavors are even coming from the hops. It’s light, fresh, lemony, and yet satisfies hop cravings. White IPAs may just be my new favorite summer/lawnmower beers.

Hazy yellow with a whitish head. Fairly thick lacing. Citrus and spice aroma. Mild bitterness, a little yeast and citrus in the taste. Medium body, very smooth.
