COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed with wheat and pilsner malt; this IPA displays beautiful citrus aromas from Cascade and Citra hops that meld with the esters of Belgian yeast. Think thirst quenching hopped-up wit beer with enough IBUs to warrant the IPA name.

Pours a hazy yellow color with a big white fluffy head. Aroma is lemon, citrus hops, and orange peel. The taste has a decent amount of spices in it. Peppercorns, wheat, orange peel, and a little bit of funk from the Belgian yeast. I really like this as a summer IPA.

A hazy straw colored beer with a small white head. The aroma is a nice blend of yeast, grapefruit, citrus, and malt. The flavor is wheat, yeast, citrus, and slightly floral.

Numerous bottles on my PNW trip-September 2012-pours hazy lite yellow hue with a small soapy white head. nose is very nice-lots of both parties here-wit and ipa. hops (floral, lite spice, lite citrus) and it melds well with the spice of the wit. wow could be the best of this style. flavors are tart citrus lite flroal notes lite bitterness yet still very balanced. the hops hit the start then followed by more subtle nuanced flavors in the finish. wow i really like this! One of the best line beers from this brewery!!!!

Pours cloudy pale yellow like a wit with a white head. Aroma is fruity, citrus hop, and yeast. Flavor is fruity, nice hoppiness, with a witbier like finish. Not usually a fan of these "Belgian IPAs , but this one works for me.

Bottle; pour was definitely close to a wit. Pale, mostly clear gold with a fairly large white head. Aroma of citrus, fruit, must, and herbs. Reminded me alot of the aroma profile of many of the the Bruery’s beers. Flavor was definitely a blend of both worlds, maybe leaning closer to an IPA. Don’t normally like some of these hybrids, but this is solid. Drinkable. Blend of yeastiness and hops in the finish.

On tap at Gingerman Dallas. Pours a cloudy gold with a small creamy white head leaving sticky lacing along the glass. The aroma is yeast and clove. Medium mouthfeel with a dry clove and yeast flavor with lingering dry finish. A good IPA from Deschutes.

Pour is a hazy yellow with a large whtie head. Aroma is a nice citrusy hop with some corrinder. Flavor is again with the cirtus hops to start then comes some lemon peel and a nice yeasty ester after the swallow. This is a nice beer. Equal parts IPA and wit merged together nicely.

Smells citrusy with lots of corriander and slight yeastiness to it. The pour is a slightly cloudy yellow brew with a tight bubbly head and nice lacing down the glass. Not a big fan of this style, I love IPAS but Belgian whites not so much. This might be a good hot weather brew though.

Bottle. Head is initially average sized, frothy, white, mostly diminishing. Body is hazy light yellow. Aroma is lightly malty (toasted grain), moderately hoppy (flowers, herbs, resin), with notes of lemon zest, coriander, pepper. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. This rendition leans a lot more in the Witbier direction than IPA...the spices are quite prominent and there really isn’t much bitterness...and even in the nose, the hops are not particularly potent. Regardless, it certainly smells bright and pleasant (if, again, a touch spice-heavy). It’s rather sweet in the mouth (for either style), but still mostly drinkable. Not something I’d revisit or even drink an entire bottle of (I rarely like examples of either style separately and the merging of the two doesn’t make things any better), but you can certainly do worse in this style.
