Brewed with wheat and pilsner malt; this IPA displays beautiful citrus aromas from Cascade and Citra hops that meld with the esters of Belgian yeast. Think thirst quenching hopped-up wit beer with enough IBUs to warrant the IPA name.

On tap at Deschutes Brewery & Public House in Bend, OR. Pours a hazy pale yellow with a thin white head. The aroma is of piney and citrus hops with just a touch of coriander and Belgian yeast. While the aroma led me to believe this would be more IPA than Belgian wit the flavor is just the opposite. Really just a hopier than normal witbier. Good overall.

Bottle. Cloudy bright yellow with a pillowy white head that retains beautifully. Aroma is filled with fresh spicy hops, citrus and grassy notes. Hop driven flavour profile, guava, slightly herbal grass, spice, and light yeasty esters. peppery dry bitter finish. Iím really digging this spin on the style. White IPAs may be the perfect style for summer for me.

Pours very, very pale -- slightly greenish, and... well... sort of gross-looking. Definitely hop-forward, but thereís a pretty light bill in here, overbalancing what must be about three or four grains of barley. Itís just lacking ingredients. Very cloudy (good point, Jane) -- and it has a decent body, with the flavor adding some grassy/herbal notes to the citrus in the aroma... but this is definitely lacking a bit. Interesting try, Deschutes.

Bottle from bhensonb. Pours cloudy yellow with a modest off-white head and a yeasty citrus aroma. There is a lemon and pilsner malt flavor with a nice yeast presence and a tangy finish.

12 oz bottle from a six pack bought at Grocery Outlet. Aroma is kind of funky. Smells of musty old grapes, citrus rind, bready malt. Pours hazy pale yellow with a medium white lacy head with decent retention. Looks like a witbier. Taste is more IPA than wit, with the citrusy hops leading the flavor profile; the spicy wit characteristics hang around in the background. Taste starts out a little sweet and tart before finishing with a lingering bitterness. Carbonation is average, body isnít as full as it seems it should be. Decent, overall.

Bottle from Malt & Vine. Pours dishwater gold with a foamy white head. Looks like a wit. Light aromas of citrus and yeast/spice. Med body. Thereís strong flavor. Citrus, yeast/spice, fruit. Iíd classify this as a wit beer, though one thatís really amped up. Weird but interesting.

Drinkable, but relatively forgettable. This has a lemony nose and decent spice/hop balance, but it doesnít really show Witbier or IPA character very well. Refreshing however.

Overall this is a great beer. However, the smell and appearance is not great. The taste is excellent though. It is smooth and does not have an unpleasant after taste.

Very light color that reminds me of white grape juice. Sweet citrus flavor. Light taste that is drinkable in the summer. This beer is something interesting that I will definitely drink more of!
