3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Head is initially average sized, frothy, white, mostly diminishing.
Body is hazy light yellow.
Aroma is lightly malty (toasted grain), moderately hoppy (flowers, herbs, resin), with notes of lemon zest, coriander, pepper.
Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, lightly bitter.
Finish is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, lightly to moderately bitter.
Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation.
This rendition leans a lot more in the Witbier direction than IPA...the spices are quite prominent and there really isnít much bitterness...and even in the nose, the hops are not particularly potent. Regardless, it certainly smells bright and pleasant (if, again, a touch spice-heavy). Itís rather sweet in the mouth (for either style), but still mostly drinkable. Not something Iíd revisit or even drink an entire bottle of (I rarely like examples of either style separately and the merging of the two doesnít make things any better), but you can certainly do worse in this style.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
This brewery continues to deliver some of my favorite beers at a price point which is unbelievable. The IPA is good and Iíll be getting more of it.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Tastes like more of a wheat than an IPA. A sweet beer with decent balance, but since this is an IPA (even a white IPA), Iím rating it down for its inability to make the hops experience more aggressive. Tried this at Granfalloons on the Plaza in KC with Dave and Josh.

3.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Good summer beer. Reminiscent of a wheat as much as an IPA. This is not quite as hop-heavy as some IPAs. Thereís just a touch of soapiness in the flavor that is a bit off-putting. Also, the usual round of citrus and hop bite.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours extremely pale yellow with a nice white head. Aromas of yeast, sulfur, citrus (lemon grass, orange peel), and a hint of melon like honeydew. Good body, effervescent carbonation without being prickly, initial flavor of yeasty orange peel, lemon and a bit of coriander, well balanced bitterness. Smooth clean finish makes this a solid summer drinker.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Has a strong citrus flavor, more on the taste than the aroma. Has that malty, caramely taste that I recognize from other white ales. Labeled as an IPA, I think I was looking for a little more punch. Not a great score from me, but that is partly due to personal preferences in style.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Hazy straw yellow with a thin foamy white head. Aroma of lots of wheaty coriander like a witte, in fact lots of coriander, with a sort of herbal citrus tone going on too. Flavor is clean and balanced and exciting, with coriander, wheat, grassy herbal hop notes, and a subtle twinge of lemon rind. Tasty with a clean finish, begging for more.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap at Ciceros. This is a lemonade colored beer that has a touch of green. A smallish white head. The aroma is wheat, light citrus, and Belgian yeast but is nor hig at all. Those are tasted with the yeast being faint. A bit of pepper and light lemony notes. Everything here is subtle and more would have been better.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 9/20
Nice and light bodied. A good single IPA for a summer day. Has the color of a typical wheat beer, but the bitterness of a IPA

3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
UPDATED: SEP 13, 2014 On tap, served in a branded sleeve at Hops in New West. Very pale cloudy yellow in color, with not a lot of head. Itís nicely but not heavily hopped. Citrus, fruity. I quite like it.
And Sep 13, 2014 in bottle at Bitter in Vancouver. Still a great summer IPA. Yes!
