COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed with wheat and pilsner malt; this IPA displays beautiful citrus aromas from Cascade and Citra hops that meld with the esters of Belgian yeast. Think thirst quenching hopped-up wit beer with enough IBUs to warrant the IPA name.

Cloudy light yellow with a fleeting white head. Lemon candy aroma, a hint of spice. Complex flavor profile, more lemon and spice, hop flavor and some belgianyness. Light, dry finish. Very much like a white with lots o’ hops. Interesting, refreshing, even tasty, but not totally cohesive.

IPA. Poured out of the bottle a cloudy dirty blonde 6ºSRM. Nose has some sweet ripe fruit aromas. Some herbal spicy notes like Thai basil, cilantro. Sour palate. There is more of that cilantro spiciness in the palate. There is a full bodied malty flavor, pale malts with bready, biscuity macadamia nut-like flavors. Light on the hops which are not overall very interesting. I’m guessing the bottle I had was a little pass it’s prime which accounted for the sour base notes. Otherwise, the residual flavor profiles that linger on the palate suggest a beautiful fresh IPA that is to be enjoyed not long after bottling. There are nice ripe pineapple, pink grapefruit, and citrus flavors. Will give it another go sometime...

Much more in the Belgian realm than IPA. Doesn’t finish with any hop flavor. Can really appreciate the yeast.

This appears to be an attempt to blend an IPA and wheat beer. It is haphazard in execution but makes for a good session beer.

Malty and citrus hop aroma. Hazy pour with a white head. Taste is citrus and bready. A bit dry. Palate is on the low to medium bodied side. Overall, a good beer but would probably not get again.

Draft in Aspen. Pours hazy gold with a frothy white head and lots of lacing. Tastes like creamy wheat, bready malt, some citrus hops, and coriander. Light/medium body and carbonation. Smells like wheat, citrus hops, bready malt, and coriander.

Bottle. Hazy pale golden with one finger head. Fairly light body with medium spice and plenty of citrus. Medium bitterness. Well done.

Pours a hazy yellow with a white head. Nose is sweet lemon, some pithy hops, and a bit of sweetness. Flavor is similar with grassy and lemony bitterness and a lovely sweet and grainy wheat throughout. Light in body and a nice white IPA.

From a bottle, pint glass. Light pour, not heavily carbonated. Citrus aroma, also, tastes heavily of grapefruit. Very good summer beer.
