COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed with wheat and pilsner malt; this IPA displays beautiful citrus aromas from Cascade and Citra hops that meld with the esters of Belgian yeast. Think thirst quenching hopped-up wit beer with enough IBUs to warrant the IPA name.

Wow! This is surprisingly good! I wasn't expecting it to have such a great aroma and flavor. Sweet and tart and smooth!

On tap at Deschutes. Pours a hazy yellow color with a small white head. Aroma of grapefruit, citrus, pine, and belgian yeast. Flavor is mainly bitter hops and it finishes dry and citrusey. Just ok.

Bottle from GBBF 2014 and drunk at home. Hazy pale gold orange with a lasting white head. Soapy lemony orange flavour. I mean itís a Belgian Wit. Yes some hops, but the soap, the orange flavour. Itís a Belgian Wit that has some decent bitterness on the finish. Fine. Soapy. Orangey Belgian Witty. Fine. Perfumed orange soapy aroma. Fine. Bit too soapy for me..

12 oz bottle purchased and consumed in central Oregon. Hazy yellow-gold color with a semi-durable, frothy white head. Good lacing. Aroma: Quite yeasty with hints of soft fruits and light spices. Flavor: Low in hops for an IPA, but the hop load seems exceptionally well matched to the malt base and yeast, so no complaints. Fruity. Mild bitterness is very low for style. Feel: Lively medium carbonation. Nearly medium body. O: good substitute for a fine Belgian pale ale.

Light, hazed golden pour. Saltwater and biscuit aroma foremost. Lightest spice, and chlorinated water. Distant spruce, coriander, banana, silage.

The flavor is mimicking both styles with a prevalence of dirtiness and trash. Though often crisp, with fresh tarragon and the buoyancy of wheat characteristics, there is a combination of astringent tea and plain, overripe fruit sugars that persistently stakes its claim. Saltine crackers, dry straw, pear skin.

Doughy body with imperfect attenuation. Creamy banana notes and coriander pungency carry through. Zesty dried green herbs in a flash prior to a midlength, cushy and grassy finish.

Bottle in Santa Barbara.

Light pour, like watered-down pineapple juice, with a nice white head. Citra-driven citrus absolutely dominates the aroma, but thatís not a bad thing here. A little bit of onion character. A little bit of spice. Lots of a grapefruit in the flavor, some pith, some onion. Pretty tasty and entirely drinkable. A good option for a someone-else-brough-the-beer picnic.

I know itís uncool but I actually quite like a number of the white IPAs Iíve had (Anchorage Galaxy, Iím looking at you in particular) and I certainly prefer these new-school hop white IPAs to the old-school hop West Coast belgian IPAs.

Bottle share at GBBF thanks to Kenny. Hazed pale yellow coloured pour with small white head. Aroma is wheat, grainy, orange peel. Flavour is wheat, light clove, some saison character. Hops and spicy and some tropical fruit. Palate is light grainy .
