3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
My review is a bit low because of what this beer says it is versus what it actually is. It says itís a white IPA. It holds many of the characteristics of a wit bier or wheat beer and very little to do with an IPA. Lemon and wheat on the nose. Pours a bright golden but cloudy yellow with a billowy white head that leaves lots of lacing down the side. Medium mouth feel. The first thing you taste is a citrus lemon flavor and thatís followed by the wheat. Iím still waiting for the hops. Overall a very drinkable beer that would be great over the summer, but not very complex at all.

355ml bottle from Archive Beer Boutique. Rating from December 2013. Poured a pale amber colour with a slight haziness. Pretty good head and the flavour is refreshing.

12oz bottle pours straw yellow with a one finger white head and little lacing. Aromas of banana, citrus, Belgian yeast, and hints of lemon. Flavor is mild citrus with a slight peppery finish. Refreshing beer.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
A bit confused by this high of a rating, because I found this to be a dulled down wit and IPA. Neither was pronounced nor even good. Itís only okay.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
I agree with many other reviewers that it tasted more like a wit than an ipa. Big yeast, orange peel and just very faint hop notes. Still refreshing and a great summer beer.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
More like a wheatbeer but doesn't detract from enjoyment. Fruity aroma, yeasty in flavour and maybe spritzy in mouthfeel. Not a lot of hops. Still a nice beer even if it isn't a true IPA.

3.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pours a hazy orange with minimal head. Has a real wheaty smell and taste for something labeled as an ipa. Taste is very good. Some citrus in the taste. Honestly would have scored it better if it werent called an ipa. Just not seeing it

Tap pour from New Bohemia. Actually a really beautiful appearance for a beer Iíve had before and found underwhelming. Persistent head and lacing galore. Cloudy and golden. Aroma is mostly citrus but understated. Pretty refreshing this time around. Some banana but mild. The yeast takes center stage and shines. Mild hops. Easy to drink. Iím on board with the chainbreaker for now.

NOT and IPA at all, zero HOPS! This is a Citrus Wheat beer. Deschutes can your marketing person!!! Rename this and re-market. If I rate this as a Citrus Wheat, Iíd give it an 85%.
