Brewed with wheat and pilsner malt; this IPA displays beautiful citrus aromas from Cascade and Citra hops that meld with the esters of Belgian yeast. Think thirst quenching hopped-up wit beer with enough IBUs to warrant the IPA name.

Cloudy pale blond color. Nice fruity aroma, clean, lemony, maybe there is Citra. Lean mouthfeel; the flavor of malt and wheat is a bit lost in this beer, indeed light flavor, hidden by a more imposing hopping, with nice fruity character: some lemon, tangerine, apricots; balanced bitterness.
Refreshing, good, although not at the same level as a beer with a bit more of crispy and biscuity malt, like my favorite Häffner Citra.

Bottle from GBBF 2014 and drunk at home. Hazy pale gold orange with a lasting white head. Soapy lemony orange flavour. I mean it’s a Belgian Wit. Yes some hops, but the soap, the orange flavour. It’s a Belgian Wit that has some decent bitterness on the finish. Fine. Soapy. Orangey Belgian Witty. Fine. Perfumed orange soapy aroma. Fine. Bit too soapy for me..

On tap at Yard House, Long Beach. A lightly unclear pale golden beer with a small white head. The aroma is resins with some citrus peel and a little touch of malts and spiciness. Decent bitterness in the flavor, with resins and citrus peel. Quite dry on the palate, pleasant carbonation. Mostly bitter finish. A pleasant and refreshing beer, but not very interesting. 130812

Draft at the Great British Beer Festival 2014, Day 1 - London. Pours cloudy yellow with a light, foamy white head. Refreshing tangy lemon accents, sugary wheat, light bitter hay. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Nicely balanced to finish with more lemon, some grapefruit pith, hints of sweet wheat. Solid.
