COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Like fresh powder, it’s a seize-the-moment thing. At harvest, we rush Goschie Farms’ Cascade hops fresh from vine to kettle. Not any Cascades, mind you, but an heirloom strain, from a single field, restored from the original rhizome. Hope you’re as hopped up as we are.

Nice yellow amber with a little cloudiness. Big white foam. Aroma is vegetal and floral hops. Nice balanced taste. Good are very nice but there’s still some malt. Great beer.

Sampled at happy harrys beer and bacon festival in Grand Forks. Great fresh hop aromas and flavours. Lovely stuff.

Best by Dec 18, 2013. Pours a straw yellow with a 2 finger head of foam and has some nice lacing. It smells of floral hops with some notes of citrus, grapefruit and more of a lemon. Malt sweetness is there but light. Very juicy hops greet my taste buds from the get go. Lots of floral hoppiness minus a real bitter bite with lemon citrus and a light biscuit malt backbone. Medium bodied though at times it feels fullish, good carbonation. Overall, a nice brew that just misses my comfort zone by a tick as the juiciness of the fresh hops wears on me as the glass empties. Definitely worthy of a try though.

Pours an opaque golden straw color with a two finger white head that goes away slowly. Sediment showing and decent carbonation. Looks more like a pilsner than an ipa. Smells of tons of fresh hops. Dank, resinous pine, grass, lemon, mango, grain, slight bready sweetness. Taste starts with light floral and sweet citrus notes. Already get a dankness to it. Middle brings a breadiness, little carmel, grains, more light citrus notes along with mango, and pine. Finish is very dank and resinous with heavy notes of pine, lemon, and floral. Also get grass, a grainy spiciness, light mango, and grapefruit. Although it is resinous, it never gets abrasive. The bitterness lasts on the palate, but it is not overpowering. Light medium body with a crisp, oily, and lightly creamy mouthfeel. This is not your typical ipa, and I am not sure I am a big fan. It is definitely interesting, but one time is good enough for me.

22 oz. bottle. Pours a bright golden orange with a nice white head. Aroma of fresh amarillo hops, Gum ball, sugar, nice citrus and floral notes. Very nice aroma. Flavor is fairly bitter, with touches of mango and tropical fruit sweetness. Very juicy, delicious. Nice, medium bodied, oily texture, finish long with floral and bitter hop notes. This is delicious.

Surprisingly light in every way: color, aroma, and taste. Light maltiness. Light hoppiness. Not much bitterness. I was expecting something more robust, and I can't say I'm picking up any freshness as I do with other fresh hop IPAs. Surprised the ABV is as high as it is. A bit disappointing. 2013 version with amarillo. Draft. Clear light golden color with a thin off white head. Aroma is a sweet floral fruity goodness. Flavor is a little lighter, with some mild fruity sweetness and a light malt character. Light in body with a light lingering sweetness. Decent, but nothing special.

A big, sticky, lasting white head sits atop a clear sunny yellow body; bright lemony-juicy-grapefruit-dankness run the show with sweet and savory accents on a silky med-light body with light carbonation and pointed bitter-dry-herbacious finish; bomber code best by: 12/18/13 0256 at 50º into TeKu

On tap September 28, 2013 at ABR. Clear golden pour. Grain and hops in aroma and taste. I just wasn’t feeling this one and usually like Deschutes beers.

On draught at Pdx deschutes - pours crystal clear gold. Nose of intense hops. Taste is hop forward and backward. Somewhat oily on tongue. Finishes dry. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
