COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Like fresh powder, it’s a seize-the-moment kind of thing. This year we’ve chased down Virgil Gamache farms, famed amarillo hops. At harvest, we rush the hops from the vine to our kettles to ensure we capture the purest, juiciest essence of the hop flower in every beer. Enjoy the bright, bold aroma and flavor that comes but once a year

Pours clear golden color with one finger of white lacy head. Smells of grapefruit and piney hops with grassy notes as well. Not overly strong hop flavor. Earthy/grassy notes as well. Decent fresh hop beer. Nothing great. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a surprisingly light gold with a white head that quickly dissipates. Aroma is bold and interesting: hay, floral, grass, and grapefruit. Taste is good but weighted towards sour. Finish is quick with lingering bitters. It’s good. Wouldn’t necessarily seek it out but would drink again.

Pours a golden straw color with a puffy white head. Smell is pretty bad actually, kind of like a litter box... but sweaty. I’m not a fan of that. Taste is lightly sweet, fairly malt forward with earthy, spicy hops rounding out the middle. Surprisingly light body, and a pleasantly crisp finish.

Aroma is strong grassy hops, pine and a strong hint of bitterness. The flavor is citrus, strong grassy hops, juice notes, fruit, grapefruit, malts in the background and a very tangy/mildly dry finish.

ACHops (672) - Seattle, Washington, USA - OCT 14, 2013
22 oz bomber poured into a shaker pint. Pours dark yellow with thick fluffy white head. Aroma is fresh citrusy hops with a decided buttery flavor. Taste is light pale malt with big earthy fresh hops on the finish. Grassy, citrus, earthy notes. The malt bill seems a bit lacking for a 7.4% IPA. Fresh hops are nice and light, without the heavy bitterness of Inversion. Almost more of a fresh hopped pale.

Bomber from Imbibe Wine. Nose is citrus with a little grapefruit and a hint of bubblegum in the far background. Lightly hazy yellow with a medium pale yellow head. Flavor is bitter with a bit of a malt background.

EtTuCthulhu (1029) - Columbia, Missouri, USA - OCT 14, 2013
The appearance of this beer is a clear light yellow color with a greenish tint and a large white head, and the aroma is a nice blend of floral and citrus hops. The taste is mildly bitter, slightly sweet, and a touch sour, and the palate combines a sticky texture, long hoppy finish, average carbonation, and a medium body.

Beautiful golden, lightly green hued with a nice pillow of fine white foam. It’s a looker. A little too much sugar and sweetness remaining. Melons, honey, citrus sweet and light caramels are the most prominent element of the profile. A bit of cattiness, then pine resins, light diesel, berry. Lots of hop volatiles which is nice. Low bitterness which is nice but too much sweetness, which affects both mouthfeel and detracts from the hop flavors.

ABUSEDGOAT (2359) - California, USA - OCT 12, 2013
Clear amber colored, moderate head, good lace/retention. Aroma is mowed grass, grapefruit, pine, light caramel. Medium bodied, moderate bitterness, very drinkable and tasty.
