Like fresh powder, itís a seize-the-moment thing. At harvest, we rush Goschie Farmsí Cascade hops fresh from vine to kettle. Not any Cascades, mind you, but an heirloom strain, from a single field, restored from the original rhizome. Hope youíre as hopped up as we are.

Tastes like a nice pilsener but with a medium heavy malty body. Great white lacing. A little fruity aroma. Nice golden Colo and white head. Did I say that already?

I have wanted to try a fresh hopped beer for a while so - pale yellow/light gold pour with aroma of green hops, light grapefruit, and malt - flavors of the same with more grapefruit and a grassy pine - ends with lingering malt, grapefruit, and grassy pine. Good.

Refreshing and full of good hops. Unfiltered natural freshness. Need 21 more characters.

22oz bottle, thanks to cbkschubert. Best by 12/27/12, enjoyed it sometime in early December. Mildly hazy golden / orange color. Good thin white head, leaves good lace. Floral and herbal hops - nice, but doesnít necessarily taste much more "fresh" than what Iím used to. Maybe Iím a bit too late, here. Very light bitter taste for an IPA of this ABV. Bigger body, smooth lighter carbonation. Grass, hay, kind of soapy. Sort of a creamy texture, with a light bitter floral hop finish. Tastes much more in line with a good, hoppy golden ale.

Poured from the bomber. Quite a disappointing Wet Hop Beer. Aroma is very mild, not hoppy at all. Flavour was similar but actually a bit grainy. Palate is watery. Overall not impressive at all. barely a pale ale.

Clear golden pour with a medium foamy white head that evaporates steadily. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. The aroma is hoppy with notes of grapefruit and malt. Medium body with flavors of grassy hops, citrus and biscuit malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a citrus hops aftertaste. Decent overall.

Bomber at the Beerhive. Pours a clear amber color with a medium white head. An odd nose of green hops and something like a wit beer. A light herbal flavor, no robust hop flavors, more biscuit and dry earthiness, light grass. Smooth. Decent.

Bottle:   Clear straw, vibrant, moderate carbonation, large frothy white head, nice lacing.   Dull musty nose, faint wet/stale hops and thats about it.   Nothing bright on the nose with this one.   Dank on the tongue, even a bit of straw, with stale/wet hops.   Chasiní Freshies?   Really?   Moderate body and mouthfeel.   Comes across as an aged IPA, having fallen off the cliff ages ago despite that its only a few months old.   Neither sharp nor bright, so donít get your hopes up about this one.

Hop aroma is surprisingly absent, given a fresh hop IPA. Slight lager smell from the bottle. Hop taste is resin like with a little citrus. A little disappointed coming from Deschutes. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

22 oz bomber purchased at Royal in Kansas City, Missouri. Best before 12/27/12 on label. The pour is light haze golden, with a two inch clear white head. The aroma is soft floral, hay, some herbal lemon, and some citrus rind. Fresh interesting nose. The taste is really big, and has an odd menthol citrus rind right away. Under that is some honeydew fruit sweetness, herbal, grass, and some ester yeast in the back. The palate is medium bodied with soft carbonation and a drier finish. The flavors really surprised me, much bolder (and odder) than the nose prepared me for. Well made, just not entirely my cup of beer.
