On tap @ the brewpub in Bend. Very dark brown, nearly black (but the brewpub is pretty dim), with a medium tan head. Nice dark roast aromas and flavours; coffee, chocolate, light smoke, and a lightly vegetal chill presence with a mild heat that remains deep in the throat. A nice blend of flavours that incorporates the chill without letting it take over. Very nice.
