RSRIZZO (987), Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA May 3, 2008 Aroma is a fresh hop scent. Color is a deep amber with good carbonation and a nice thin but tight head. Taste super hoppy and bitter. Starting with a light/medium body it goes down fizzy. Finish is hoppy with a slight sweetness then slams you with a bold bitter bite. After taste is a little dry as the bitterness lingers on. It seems a little hoppy for an Amber but it is a very tasty brew.

I always look forward to seeing this seasonal on tap. Very balanced. Great aroma and hop profile. A little unfocused on the mid-palate. Leaves you wanting a little more body. All in all and great red ale! Beer_2000 (1164), Kristiansand, Norway Aug 10, 2008 355 ml bottle. Reddish amber body with a creamy, light beige head. Aroma is fruity, grapefruit and berries with a little hint of caramel. Flavor is balanced sweet and bitter with fruit. Harmonic, balanced, with a sharp bitterness. Really nice. RichardGretton (2603), Leicestershire, England Aug 3, 2008 Bottle@Beers of the World Live (NEC), 2008. Amber beer with a hopped and roasted aroma. The flavour is very dry and hopped. Overall a nice beer. lb4lb (1339), Austin, Texas, USA Jul 31, 2008 bottle in trade from ditmier. Thanks!
Pours light reddish amber with a short lived beige head. Smell is caramel red malt with a lightly fruity hop and yeast smell too. Taste is lightly musty and yeasty and doughy. Some light hops and caramel with a light lingering bitterness in the finish. Could use more malt to balance and give more body, I think. gws57 (988), Saint Charles, Illinois, USA Jul 28, 2008 Found this one bottled at the Liquor Depot in Rock Springs, Wyoming. Hazy, orange reddish pour with floaties, a foamy, off white head, toffee and candy apple nose, chocolate malt, nice and malty, mild but very quaffable.
