COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Michigan Riesling and Oregon Pinot Noir grapes age with Mt. Hood whole flower hops and Pilsner malt in Muscat casks. The fruit aroma unites with Belgian yeast esters and oak for a crisp, dry and slightly tart flavor. Sip slowly and enjoy the complexity.

Very much dominated by the wine grapes, light and fruity. Does not remind me of a Belgian at all. Sour essence without the sourness.

My Bottom Line:
This fruity Belgian-style brew juxtaposes floral notes and honeyed malts with bubbly and lightly acidic impressions.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A veil of foam covers the misty dull golden.
-Oxydation already mars the nose and flavor profile.
-Alcohol is well hidden.
-This doesnít have the complexity or drinkability I would look for in this type of brew.

Bottle.

Bottle (22oz ): Golden with thin white head. Aroma most white wine like. Grapes. Taste the same with a little Belgian yeast. Nice alternative to wine.

Black waxed 22oz bomber pours with a crystal clear copper body that supports a weak dirty white head. The aroma offers up apples, plums, white grapes, a raisin or two and then a mild level of sugary honey malts. The taste starts with apple and grape sweetness before some tannin and white wine like tartness shoulder in amid the sweet notes. To midway a raspberry sort of Bing cherry thing murmurs to the surface. It then lingers with white wine and modest tartness well into the after taste. Not my bag.

Very wine like aroma with the grapes coming though. You get a hint of spice and some wood. The flavor is quite interesting. Sip it slowly and allow it to warm to bring out all the characteristics. Itís tart and fruity up front but gets more mellow and oaky as it warms. Dry and lingering.

Mushy, past-it fruit is dominant. Canít say Iím much of a fan of this one at all. Itís just too sickly sweet and really musty. Iím not sure.

From bottle Best After 12/6/14. Pours hazy orangy golden with thin white head. Aromas of green apple, ripe berries, chardonnay. Flavors are similar plus tart cider, sugar plums, yeasty funk, and amazing oak. Finishes dry, fruity, and slightly tart. Incredibly complex and refreshing. One of the best Belgian Style Ales I have ever had.

22 oz, best after 12/06/14- Pours from a pain in the ass wax dipped bottle a hazy golden beer with a thin white head that reduces quickly. Aroma is fruity, candy sweet, barnyard funk, citrusy. Taste is very similar, citrusy, lightly funky, semi sweet, wine grapes are very noticeable. Decent but I canít believe i paid $16.99 for this, having aged it for the proper amount of time, I donít think iíd pay more than $6.99 based on what iím tasting, average at best.

This beer is a clear orange-gold color with a medium thick white head that diminishes gradually. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of floral yeast, fruit and malt. Full-bodied with flavors of grassy yeast, caramel malt and vinous oak. The finish is oak and yeast with a mildly tart white wine aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Tap at Busters in a tulip glass. Deschutes tap takeover. Medium orange to burnt copper in color. Beautiful appearance. Funkiness in the aroma and faint, tart fruit. Taste brings to mind biere de garde, tripels, and Belgian pale ales. Citrus characteristics and a subdued floral backing. Really bright finish with an alcohol warming quality. Very good collabo.
